We’re here to walk with you in choosing what most lovingly supports your path.

We do not have samples available of our blends. All of our blends contain Psilocybe cubensis, the active ingredient in mushroom microdosing, so the difference between one blend and another is minimal and has to do with the functional mushrooms and herbs (such as reishi, lion’s mane or maca root) that are added, not with the Psilocybe cubensis.

If you’re new to microdosing, we recommend you start with a bottle of our Inner Peace 50mg blend.

This is our purest microdosing blend, with just Psilocybe cubensis and organic ginger root. The ginger in this blend can help with any nausea caused by the undigestible fiber in mushrooms, especially for people new to microdosing. This reportedly goes away over time.

Once you get the hang of microdosing, we encourage you to branch out to other blends, always having tried each functional mushroom and/or herb in the blend separately to know how you react to it isolated.

Our blends were formulated with different intentions in mind. You can read these in this article

Our SoulCybin Proprietary Blend is the key ingredient in all of our products. It consists of a cultivated, in-house, hybrid strain (technically, “cultivar”) of Psilocybe cubensis mushroom.

All our offerings (except for the Amplifier, which only contains Syrian Rue), contain the SoulCybin Proprietary Blend – a hybrid cultivar (strain) of Psilocybe cubensis.

We specifically use our proprietary blend for its:
– Higher potency
– Resistance to contamination
– Reliable yields

Our proprietary blend offers heightened emotional connection, euphoria, and a sense of deep unity with nature. What sets it apart is our growing process—with fresh potency ensured through small-batch harvesting, drying, and encapsulation. This careful process ensures our capsules retain their potency for up to a year or longer.

To enhance your microdosing experience, we also include functional, non-psychedelic mushrooms and herbs such as Lion’s Mane, chaga, reishi, maca, ginseng, ashwagandha among others in some of our blends.

These additional herbs and mushrooms are chosen for their unique health benefits and their ability to complement the effects of psilocybin.

Microdosing Dosage

When you’re first figuring out the correct dose and blend for you, you might need to increase from week 1 to week 2, etc. But once you find the dose that works well for you, we recommend you stick with it, at least for the first treatment cycle (~4 weeks). Increasing your dose won’t necessarily mean a deeper or faster process. Changes are generally seen over time, as long as you stick with a schedule.

Signs that you might need to adjust your dosage:

Too High:
– Feeling a noticeable “high”
– Experiencing a “head-spacey” feeling
– Feeling overwhelmed

Too Low:
– Feeling disconnected
– Not noticing any changes over time

Important Note: Microdosing is about making slow, long-term changes, not necessarily feeling instantaneous effects. To notice these subtle changes:

– Keep daily notes of your experience
– Review your progress over time
– Consider a gentle increase after a month if you’re not experiencing benefits
– Always listen to your body and adjust as needed

Microdosing Protocols & How-To

Microdosing is the gentle, intentional practice of taking small, sub-perceptual amounts of psilocybin. At SoulCybin, we believe this practice can support mental clarity, emotional balance, creativity, and personal growth.

This guide combines our community’s experience, research-backed protocols, and the wisdom shared in our Microdosing Guide PDF — all in one place.

What Is Microdosing?

Microdosing refers to taking a very small amount of psilocybin — typically between 50 mg and 350 mg — in a way that doesn’t produce a full psychedelic experience but still offers subtle emotional and mental benefits. but still offers subtle emotional and mental benefits. Most members report feeling:

  • More grounded, clear, and focused

  • Less reactive or anxious

  • More connected to their creativity and intuition

You won’t “trip” or lose control; rather, you’ll likely feel slightly more present and aware.

If you’re unsure where to begin, we encourage you to take our free Microdosing Dose Quiz (present in our Free Microdosing Guide) or book a Consultation Call with one of our experienced guides for personalized support.

You can also split capsules or open them to fine-tune your dose. Sensitivity varies by individual — we recommend starting low and adjusting slowly.

How Often Should I Microdose?

There are two commonly followed protocols:

1. Fadiman Protocol

  • Take one dose on Day 1

  • Skip Days 2 & 3 (for reflection and reset)

  • Repeat the cycle every 3 days

2. Stamets Stack (more advanced)

  • Dose daily for 4 days

  • Take 3 days off

  • Often combined with supplements like Lion’s Mane and niacin

Many members also intuitively design their own rhythm. Whichever path you choose, consistency matters more than intensity.

Tips for Best Results

  • Set an intention each morning you microdose. Even a simple phrase like “I am open to clarity” can amplify your experience.

  • Journal and track your progress. Noticing subtle changes over time is easier when you document your thoughts, emotions, and focus levels.

  • Avoid alcohol and unnecessary stimulants while microdosing, especially on dose days.

  • Take breaks every few weeks to reset and reflect.

When Should I Not Microdose?

Avoid microdosing if:

  • You’re in an emotionally unstable state or during major trauma processing

  • You plan to drive long distances, operate heavy machinery, or perform intense tasks

  • You’re on medications that may interact (especially SSRIs or MAOIs) — consult your doctor and see our article: Can I microdose with antidepressants?

What to Expect Over Time

Microdosing isn’t a magic pill, but with consistent use and reflection, many members report:

  • Enhanced emotional regulation

  • Greater focus and flow states

  • A feeling of grounded calm throughout the day

  • Reconnection to joy and creative energy

Let your journey unfold gently. Microdosing is a subtle but powerful ally.

When Will I Notice Effects?

Microdosing tends to work gradually. Many members begin noticing gentle improvements — such as emotional steadiness or mental clarity — within the first few days to two weeks. Others report their most transformative results after 3–4 weeks of consistent practice.

For a full breakdown of what to expect and how to track your progress, see: How long does it take to feel results from microdosing?

Do I Need to Adjust My Dose Over Time?

Some members find their ideal dose right away. Others may need to fine-tune in the first 1–2 weeks. The key is consistency — not escalation. A higher dose isn’t always better. Subtle, sustained change is the goal.

Explore signs of over- or under-dosing and how to dial in your ideal amount here: Do I need to work my way up to increase my dosage?

How Should I Store My Microdosing Products?

To preserve potency and freshness:

  • Keep capsules in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight or heat.

  • Avoid high humidity — don’t store in the bathroom or refrigerator.

  • Reseal the original packaging or store in an airtight container.

  • Our products maintain potency for up to one year when stored properly.

The short answer is: yes — most members are able to microdose while working, driving, and engaging in daily life without disruption.

In fact, many people begin microdosing specifically to support:

  • Greater focus and creativity at work

  • Calm, present social interactions

  • A deeper connection to their everyday routines

That said, microdosing is a personal experience, and your response depends on your sensitivity, your mindset, and your dosage. Here’s what to keep in mind:

Microdosing and Work

Many members report enhanced mental clarity, emotional balance, and creative flow at work when taking smaller doses (50–100 mg).

Still, if you’re new to microdosing, it’s wise to begin on a day off or when you have minimal responsibilities. This allows you to observe how your body responds without pressure.

Can I Drive While Microdosing?

Microdoses are meant to be non-psychoactive and shouldn’t impair your coordination or reaction time. That said, if you’re unsure how a new dosage will feel, avoid driving until you’re familiar with the effects.

If you feel more inward, dreamy, or emotionally sensitive than usual, it’s best to stay grounded and give yourself space before operating a vehicle or performing demanding tasks.

What About Social Situations?

Some people feel more open, relaxed, and connected in conversation. Others feel more introspective and inward. Neither is better or worse — just different nervous system responses.

If you’re microdosing before a social event or public interaction, consider a lower dose (25–50 mg) until you know how your system responds.

Listen to Your Body

There’s no single “right way” to microdose. Your nervous system is unique, and your needs may change day to day. Go gently, and trust your felt sense.

If you’re ever unsure where to begin, we invite you to take our Free Dose Quiz (present in our Free Microdosing Guide) or schedule a Consultation Call for personalized guidance.

Microdosing is here to support your life — not interrupt it.

Medication Interactions

Microdosing has been studied for decades and has shown promising results as an effective treatment for a variety of conditions, including depression and ADHD. Many individuals have reported significant improvements in mood, focus, and emotional balance when microdosing. Research suggests that microdosing can help reduce symptoms such as anxiety, stress, and lack of focus, which are commonly associated with conditions like depression and ADHD.

However, it’s important to remember that everyone’s experience is unique, and the effects of microdosing can vary. If you have an existing condition like depression or ADHD, we strongly recommend speaking with your healthcare professional before starting microdosing to ensure it aligns with your treatment plan and is safe for you. Our team is also available to help guide you, so feel free to book a consultation call.

Looking for general guidance on medication safety?
If you’re wondering whether SoulCybin is right for you while taking SSRIs, SNRIs, or other medications, we recommend starting with this article for a compassionate overview and support options.
This article below provides a more technical and detailed breakdown of potential interactions.

While psilocybin is generally safe for most people and most conditions, combining it with certain medications or treatments can lead to dangerous interactions that may pose significant health risks. Therefore, unless under the approval, guidance, and supervision of a licensed medical professionalwe strongly advise against combining psilocybin with these medications/drugs or treatments.

Here is a list of all these dangerous interactions, together with the possible issues with each interaction, the reasons behind them, and the most common brands of each type of medication:

Medications to Avoid with Psilocybin

1. Antidepressants

Antidepressants are commonly prescribed for mood disorders and can significantly affect serotonin levels in the brain. Combining them with psilocybin can lead to severe complications.

‣ Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs): These medications increase serotonin levels, which can dangerously elevate when combined with psilocybin, leading to serotonin syndrome. Symptoms include agitation, confusion, rapid heart rate, high blood pressure, and fever. Brands include:
  •   Prozac (Fluoxetine)
  •   Zoloft (Sertraline)
  •   Lexapro (Escitalopram)
  •   Paxil (Paroxetine)

‣ Serotonin-Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitors (SNRIs): Similar to SSRIs, SNRIs can also cause serotonin syndrome, as well as contribute to cardiovascular complications. Brands include:
  •   Cymbalta (Duloxetine)
  •   Effexor XR (Venlafaxine)

‣ Tricyclic Antidepressants (TCAs): These can amplify the effects of psilocybin and heighten side effects such as anxiety or confusion. They may also induce arrhythmias or cardiotoxicity when combined with psychedelic substances (such as psilocybin). Brands include:
  •   Elavil (Amitriptyline)
  •   Tofranil (Imipramine)

Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs): MAOIs block the breakdown of neurotransmitters, leading to dangerously high serotonin levels when combined with psilocybin. This increases the risk of serotonin syndrome. Brands include:
  •   Nardil (Phenelzine)
  •   Parnate (Tranylcypromine)
‣ Serotonin Antagonist and Reuptake Inhibitors (SARIs): SARIs, such as trazodone and nefazodone, inhibit serotonin reuptake while also antagonizing certain serotonin receptors. This interaction may lead to diminished effects of psilocybin or increased risk of serotonin syndrome. Brands include:
  • Desyrel (Trazodone)
  • Serzone (Nefazodone)

2. Antipsychotics

Antipsychotic medications may counteract the effects of psilocybin or exacerbate its side effects, particularly in individuals with psychotic disorders. This combination might lead to increased confusion or agitation. Also, they can blunt psychedelic effects by antagonizing serotonin receptors (specifically 5-HT2A receptors). Common brands include:
  • Thorazine (Chlorpromazine)
  • Haldol (Haloperidol)
  • Risperdal (Risperidone)

3. Benzodiazepines

Benzodiazepines are often used to manage anxiety but can dampen the effects of psilocybin or lead to respiratory depression when mixed. This combination increases the risk of overdose and impaired coordination. Common brands include:
  • Xanax (Alprazolam)
  • Valium (Diazepam)
  • Ativan (Lorazepam)

4. Stimulants

Stimulants such as cocaine, amphetamines, and caffeine (this last one in a lesser degree, but it’s worth considering for some people who are very sensitive to it) can dangerously elevate heart rate and blood pressure when taken with psilocybin, increasing the risk of cardiovascular complications like heart attack or stroke. This combination can also worsen anxiety and paranoia. Common brands (generally used for treating ADHD) include:
  • Adderall (Amphetamine/Dextroamphetamine)
  • Ritalin (Methylphenidate)

5. Other Serotonergic Drugs

Combining psilocybin with other hallucinogens or drugs that affect serotonin levels can lead to serotonin syndrome, which is potentially life-threatening. This includes substances like LSD and MDMA.

6. Lithium

Lithium is used as a mood stabilizer for bipolar disorder and can interact dangerously with psychedelics like psilocybin. While more research is needed about this combination, due to lithium’s neuroexcitatory properties, it may increase the risk of seizures and cardiovascular complications.

7. Alcohol

Alcohol is a depressant that impairs judgment and reduces inhibitions, and it usually increases dehydration or impair decision-making. As such, when taken with psilocybin, it can intensify the psychedelic experience, leading to a loss of control and an increased risk of accidents and injuries. Alcohol may also exacerbate negative effects such as anxiety and paranoia.

8. Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitors (NRIs) and Norepinephrine-Dopamine Reuptake Inhibitors (NDRIs)

These medications primarily affect norepinephrine and dopamine levels, which could lead to unpredictable interactions with psilocybin, potentially heightening side effects like anxiety or cardiovascular issues. Common brands include:
  • Bupropion (Wellbutrin)
  • Reboxetine (Edronax)

9. Antihistamines

Antihistamines such as diphenhydramine (Benadryl) and chlorpheniramine (Chlor-Trimeton) are commonly used for allergies and insomnia. When taken with psilocybin, they might increase the risk of dizziness, confusion, and hallucinations while worsening negative effects like anxiety and paranoia, though limited about this interaction is still quite limited.

10. Cardiovascular Medications

Cardiovascular medications can interact negatively with psilocybin by affecting heart rate, blood pressure, or vascular tone. While more research is needed, to stay on the safe side, it’s important to clarify that these interactions may lead to serious complications, including sudden blood pressure changes, dizziness, fainting, or arrhythmias.

‣ Beta-Blockers: These medications lower blood pressure and heart rate by blocking adrenergic receptors. Combining them with psilocybin may cause paradoxical hypertension or bradycardia due to conflicting cardiovascular effects. Brands include:

  • Tenormin (Atenolol)
  • Lopressor, Toprol XL (Metoprolol)
  • Inderal (Propranolol)

‣ Calcium Channel Blockers (CCBs): These drugs relax blood vessels and slow the heart rate. Psilocybin’s vasodilatory effects may increase the risk of hypotension, dizziness, or syncope (fainting) when combined with CCBs. Brands include:

  • Norvasc (Amlodipine)
  • Calan, Isoptin (Verapamil)
  • Cardizem (Diltiazem)

‣ Adrenergic Receptor Antagonists: Medications like carvedilol block both beta and alpha receptors, reducing blood pressure and heart rate. Carvedilol also interacts with serotonin receptors, which can amplify or alter psilocybin’s effects, increasing the risk of sudden blood pressure changes and cardiovascular strain. Brands include:

  • Coreg (Carvedilol)

‣ ACE Inhibitors and ARBs (Angiotensin Receptor Blockers): These medications lower blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels. Combining them with psilocybin may lead to excessive hypotension or fainting. Brands include:

  • ZestrilPrinivil (Lisinopril)
  • Cozaar (Losartan)
  • Diovan (Valsartan)

‣ Anti-Arrhythmics: These medications are used to regulate abnormal heart rhythms. Psilocybin may exacerbate arrhythmias or increase the risk of QT prolongation, leading to potentially dangerous outcomes. Brands include:

  • Pacerone (Amiodarone)
  • Tambocor (Flecainide)

‣ Nitrates: These medications are used to treat angina by dilating blood vessels. When combined with psilocybin, they can cause severe hypotension, dizziness, or fainting. Brands include:

  • NitrostatNitrolingual (Nitroglycerin)
  • Imdur (Isosorbide Mononitrate)

11. Opioids and Depressants

Mixing psilocybin with opioids or other depressants like alcohol can significantly heighten the risk of respiratory depression and central nervous system depression, leading to severe complications such as confusion and impaired coordination.

12. Other Hallucinogens

Using psilocybin alongside other hallucinogens can lead to cross-tolerance or dangerously high levels of serotonin, increasing the risk of serotonin syndrome

13. Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)

While specific interactions between HRT and psilocybin are not well-studied, hormonal changes can influence mood and psychological states, potentially altering the effects of psilocybin or increasing susceptibility to adverse psychological reactions during a psychedelic experience.

Summary of Risks

The primary concern when combining psilocybin with these medications is the potential for serotonin syndrome (which requires immediate medical attention), characterized by symptoms such as:
  • Agitation
  • Confusion
  • Rapid heart rate
  • High blood pressure
  • Muscle rigidity
  • Seizures
  • In severe cases, death
Additionally, combining psilocybin with stimulants or depressants can lead to dangerous cardiovascular effects or respiratory issues.

Therefore, if you’re considering psilocybin use—especially in therapeutic contexts—please consult healthcare professionals regarding your current medications / drugs / treatments, to ensure safety and mitigate risks associated with potential drug interactions. Understanding these interactions comprehensively allows for informed decisions about health while exploring the therapeutic potential of psilocybin.

Please take this article with a grain of salt and, ultimately, we recommend you to always consult with your licensed healthcare professional for any critical decision about combining psilocybin with these or other drugs.

Psilocybin is a potent serotonin agonist, meaning it influences serotonin receptors in the brain. As such, it’s crucial to avoid combining psilocybin with medications that alter the serotonin system, such as SSRIs, SNRIs, or other antidepressants, because they lower the efficacy of psilocybin and might result in serotonin syndrome.

Additionally, combining psilocybin with pain medications like Tramadol, antipsychotics, or amphetamines can have harmful effects. It’s important to be cautious when taking any other medications, and we highly recommend consulting your healthcare provider before starting microdosing, especially if you are currently on prescription medications.

Psilocybin is a potent serotonin agonist, so it’s better to avoid if you’re taking any medications

which alter the serotonin system such as SSRI/SNRI antidepressants.

Psilocybin should not be mixed with pain medications such as Tramadol which can lead to serotonin syndrome.

Do not take psilocybin if you’re on antipsychotics, or you have a history of psychosis or schizophrenia.

Please do not mix psilocybin with amphetamines or recreational drugs.

Psilocybin could possibly increase the effects of cannabis.

When you’re in doubt about safety and interactions with a medication that you’re taking, please consult your doctor first.

James Fadiman shares an important precaution about microdosing:

“We specifically do not recommend that people with colorblindness, who live with diagnoses of psychotic disorders or along the autism spectrum try microdosing. People with colorblindness report lasting visual distortions from microdosing. Literature suggests people with psychotic disorders may be harmed by psychedelics. In our experience, people with diagnoses along the autism spectrum seem to require dosages that far exceed what is traditionally considered microdosing.”

Microdosing Protocols

Paul Stamets, a leading mycologist and advocate for the therapeutic potential of mushrooms, has developed the Stamets Stack. This protocol combines psilocybin with two other powerful ingredients—Lion’s Mane mushroom and niacin (vitamin B3)—to enhance cognitive function and support neurogenesis (the growth of new brain cells). This stack was developed to optimize creativity, cognitive enhancement, and overall brain health.

The Stamets Stack follows a 5 days on, 2 days off schedule, meaning you take your microdose every day for five days and then take two days off. This method promotes the benefits of psilocybin while also helping you build tolerance. However, the primary goal of this stack is to repair and enhance cognitive function, and over time, it can lead to lasting improvements in creativity, focus, and mental clarity.

Stamets recommends this stack for individuals who weigh around 154 pounds, but for those who weigh more, it may be beneficial to start with a higher dose (though always begin with a lower dose first to assess how your body responds). Here is a typical breakdown for the

Stamets Stack:

  • Psilocybin: 1–10 mg (derived from psilocybe mushrooms at a 1% concentration)
  • Lion’s Mane Extract: 500–2000 mg
  • Niacin: 100–200 mg

If you’re interested in following the Stamets Stack, we recommend our Brain Booster Blend, which is perfectly formulated to support the effects of this protocol.

Both the Fadiman and Stamets protocols offer structured and scientifically informed approaches to microdosing, providing a clear path for those seeking cognitive enhancement, emotional balance, and overall well-being. If you’re new to microdosing, we suggest starting with a lower dose and adjusting based on your personal needs and goals. Always remember, microdosing is about finding what works best for you.

James Fadiman, often referred to as the “father of modern microdosing,” is one of the foremost pioneers in this field. He has meticulously gathered thousands of anecdotal reports from individuals worldwide, contributing to the growing body of evidence supporting the benefits of microdosing. Fadiman’s protocol is designed as a 30-day self-study, encouraging individuals to track their experiences and contribute to ongoing research.

Fadiman’s approach involves taking a microdose on one day, then taking the next two days off, creating a rhythm that is repeated for 30 days. After completing this cycle, he recommends taking a break of at least 2 weeks to reset your system. This pause helps prevent building tolerance and enhances the effectiveness of future cycles. Many people find that after completing about 10 cycles, they no longer need to microdose regularly and instead use it occasionally when they feel it would be beneficial.

For those following the Fadiman Protocol, we suggest starting with our Inner Peace or Adaptogen Blends, which are specifically designed to support emotional balance and cognitive clarity during microdosing.

Suitability & Conditions

Microdosing is considered safe when practiced responsibly and with proper guidance. It has been widely researched for its therapeutic benefits, and its safety profile continues to be affirmed by growing scientific interest.

At SoulCybin, our blends are developed in-house by our master mycologist with a focus on quality and safety. Every batch is carefully crafted using the highest standards to ensure that each dose is consistent and effective, promoting natural healing and transformation.

As always, it’s crucial to follow the recommended guidelines for microdosing, which we provide for free in our microdosing guide, and if you have any concerns, we encourage you to consult with a healthcare professional before starting.

Microdosing is NOT addictive in the traditional sense. Psilocybin, the active ingredient in our blends, does NOT cause physical dependency. In fact, microdosing is being studied as a potential treatment for addiction.

However, it’s important to maintain a mindful and balanced approach when incorporating microdosing into your lifestyle. Like any healthy habit, it’s essential to stick to a schedule that works for you and avoid overuse. We suggest alternating between periods of microdosing and taking breaks to help maintain its effectiveness and prevent any potential psychological reliance.

In general, take two weeks off after every 4-5 weeks of microdosing. For specific guidance based on your lifestyle and goals, book a consultation call.

Psilocybin & Microdosing Benefits
Understanding Psilocybin

Our experience with psilocybin can change day-to-day but this is normal, and a part of the medicine’s wisdom. Whether you are microdosing or participating in a ceremonial journey, the experience shifts because you and your needs are always changing. Psilocybin meets you where you are and gives you what you’re ready to receive.

You Are Always Changing

Every day you grow and change—your thoughts, emotions, and energy shift. The medicine responds to these changes, offering exactly what you need at the moment. What psilocybin teaches you in one experience may not be the same lesson in the next.

Set and Setting Matter

  • Set is your mindset—the thoughts and feelings you bring into the experience.
  • Setting is your environment, including the space and people around you.

Both shape how the medicine works with you. A calm, supportive setting may help you feel grounded, while a challenging setting could bring up emotions you need to process.

The Medicine Guides You Gently

Psilocybin works with deep wisdom. It may show you beauty and peace one time, and challenge you with difficult truths another time. Trust that each experience is designed to guide you on your path, even when it feels unexpected.

Microdosing: Subtle but Powerful & Long-Term Changes

With microdosing, the changes are gentle and build slowly over time. As your needs evolve, your ideal dose and approach might shift too. During your two-week microdosing break, reflect on your intentions and reassess what feels right for the next microdosing cycle. You might need to change your schedule, blend, dose, and/or intention for the medicine.

Psilocybin always works in alignment with your highest good, even if it’s not what you expect. By releasing control and staying open, you can fully receive the medicine’s wisdom and healing.

Microdosing involves consuming small amounts of a psychedelic substance such as Psilocybin mushrooms. The dosages taken are so small that no hallucinations or impairments occur.

Between 1/20th to 1/10th of a regular psychoactive dose would be considered a microdose. When it comes to psilocybin mushrooms, this implies between 25mg and 250mg. Microdosing is often consistently practiced over a longer time period.

To avoid the buildup of tolerance, it’s recommended to follow a schedule with on-days and off-days, rather than taking a microdose every day. The effects are subtle but profound. Many individuals report receiving various physical, mental, spiritual and emotional health benefits.

Psilocybin is a psychedelic compound which is produced by over 200 species of mushrooms, known as “shrooms” or “magic mushrooms.” Various indigenous peoples in Mesoamerica have consumed the mushrooms in highly sacred ceremonial contexts. The consumption of psilocybin mushrooms by humans is estimated to predate recorded history.

While various institutions in western society consider them to be harmful recreational drugs, more and more scientific studies prove otherwise. Psilocybin mushrooms have been scientifically proven to help treat depression, anxiety, PTSD, obsessive-compulsive disorders, addictions, cluster headaches and more.

Psilocybin & Psilocin content in Psilocybe cubensis Mushrooms

Our microdoses range from 25 mg up to 350 mg.

For ceremonial doses, you would need to take1g+ (1000mg), depending on your tolerance.

These measurements refer to the amount of dried Psilocybe cubensis mushroom contained in each capsule, which is not the same as the amount of psilocybin or psilocin naturally present in the mushrooms.

Psilocybin is the “active” psychoactive substance naturally present in Psilocybe cubensis mushrooms, and there is some psilocin available as well. The psilocybin turns into psilocin after digestion.

  • Psilocybin levels in Psilocybe cubensis mushrooms typically range from 0.37% to 1.30% by dry weight.
  • Psilocin levels in these mushrooms generally range from 0.14% to 0.42% by dry weight.
  • When combined, the total content of psilocybin and psilocin can reach approximately 0.51% to 1.72% when considering their respective ranges, depending on the specific mushroom sample and its conditions.

Variability Factors

Several factors contribute to this variability:

  • Strain Differences: Different cultivars (generally called “strains”) of P. cubensis show varying levels of these compounds.
  • Growing Conditions: Environmental factors such as substrate, humidity, temperature, and light exposure can influence the alkaloid concentrations.
  • Flush Variation: The concentration of psilocin may be low or absent in the first flush of mushrooms but can peak in subsequent flushes, while psilocybin levels tend to be more stable across flushes but can still vary significantly between different harvests.

Psilocybin and Psilocin content in our offerings

All our offerings (except for the gummies) contain a specific hybrid cultivar/”strain” of Psilocybe cubensis mushrooms, cultivated carefully by our dedicated and skilled mycologists.

According to some measurements done by them, we estimate that these mushrooms contain approximately 1.4% to 1.7% of psilocybin and psilocin, quite consistently.

This means that in every 100 mg of these mushrooms, there are about 1.4 to 1.7 mg of psilocybin and psilocin combined.

In recent years, microdosing has gained recognition as a powerful tool for enhancing mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. By taking small, sub-perceptual doses of psychedelic substances like psilocybin, individuals can experience profound benefits without the hallucinogenic effects of a full dose.

What Is Psilocybin Microdosing?

Psilocybin, the active compound in “magic mushrooms,” is converted into psilocin in the body, which interacts with serotonin receptors to influence mood, cognition, and perception. Microdosing involves taking approximately 5–10% of a standard dose—typically 0.025–0.35 grams of dried mushrooms—on a structured schedule, such as once every three days. At these small doses, users report subtle but powerful shifts in their daily lives, including enhanced focus, creativity, and emotional resilience.

The Science Behind Microdosing

Research suggests that psilocybin promotes neuroplasticity, reduces inflammation, and improves brain connectivity. These changes underpin many of its reported benefits:

  1. Enhanced Creativity and Focus: Users often describe breakthroughs in problem-solving and a quieting of the inner critic, enabling free-flowing ideas.
  2. Improved Mood: Psilocybin’s effects on serotonin receptors help regulate mood, reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression.
  3. Stress Resilience: By lowering activity in fear-related brain regions, psilocybin fosters calm and emotional balance.
  4. Minimal Side Effects: Microdosing offers benefits without the intense experiences of larger doses, making it a manageable and sustainable practice for many.

The Emotional and Spiritual Dimensions

Beyond scientific benefits, microdosing can unlock profound emotional and spiritual growth. Users often describe:

  • Emotional Healing: A newfound capacity for self-compassion and forgiveness, allowing unresolved trauma to surface and heal.
  • Spiritual Awakening: A deepened sense of connection to oneself, others, and the universe, fostering gratitude and purpose.
  • Mental Clarity: A clearer sense of direction and confidence in decision-making.

A Practical Guide

For those exploring microdosing, it’s essential to approach the practice mindfully. Start with a low dose and follow a protocol, such as dosing every three days, to gauge its effects. Be patient—microdosing’s benefits often emerge gradually.

For a step-by-step guide, consult our Free Microdosing Guide, which includes protocol suggestions and a dosage test.

A Path to Your Highest Potential

Microdosing is not a one-size-fits-all solution, but it can be a gentle catalyst for meaningful transformation. Whether you’re seeking mental clarity, emotional healing, or spiritual insight, it offers a path toward greater balance and connection. As you embark on this journey, remember to remain curious and open-hearted.
